For the curious minds seeking wisdom

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

~ Benjamin Franklin

At The Seeker @ Lyceum we take a deep plunge into the ocean of knowledge, with one and only objective - to understand our world better.

Our tools - debates, discussions, books, magazines, movies, documentaries, podcasts, videos, and many more.

The ocean is deep and one lifetime is not enough even to discover a tiny winy portion of it.  So, we need to select and read life-changing books, watch meaningful movies and impactful documentaries, listen to good interviews and informative podcasts, watch interesting videos, and last but not the least, debate and discuss amongst ourselves to refine our understandings.

We will read books by Tagore, Premchand, Surendra Mohanty, Vivekananda, Krishnamurti, Amartya Sen, Sagan, Paul Davies, Gibran, Nietzsche, Sartre, Camus, Hesse, Orwell, Piketty, and many others.

We will watch movies of Satyajit Ray, Shyam Benegal, Adoor Gopalkrishnan, Govind Nihlani, Gulzar,  David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, Orson Welles, Kurosawa, Bergman, Fellini, et al.

We will watch documentaries on World War 2, Indian Independence, Climate change, Economics, World History, Science and Religion, etc

We will watch series like Cosmos, Through the Wormhole, Vice, Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, etc

We will listen to the debates conducted by Oxford Union, Intelligence Squared, Munk and SoHo.

We will listen to the podcasts of Amit Varma, Naval, Sam Harris, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Stephen Fry, Jordan Peterson, Tim Ferris, Dan Carlin, Stephen Dubner, Malcolm Gladwell, etc.
